प्रयत: प्राउजलि र्भूत्वा धीरस्तान् ब्रह्म॒सत्रिण: । जैगीषव्यं न पश्यामि तं शंसध्वं महौजसम्
prayataḥ prāñjalir bhūtvā dhīras tān brahmasatriṇaḥ | jaigīṣavyaṃ na paśyāmi taṃ śaṃsadhvaṃ mahaujasam ||
Vaiśaṃpāyana nói: Điềm tĩnh và tự chế, chắp tay cung kính, người kiên định ấy thưa với các Bà-la-môn đang dự hội tế lễ: “Ta không thấy Jaigīṣavya. Xin hãy nói cho ta về vị hiền triết hùng lực, rạng ngời ấy.”
