Dvaipāyana-hrade Duryodhanasya Māyā — Yudhiṣṭhirasya Dharmoktiḥ (Śalya-parva, Adhyāya 30)
इमे हाायान्ति संहृष्टा: पाण्डवा जितकाशिन: । अपयास्यामहे तावदनुजानातु नो भवान्,'ये विजयसे उल्लसित होनेवाले पाण्डव बड़े हर्षमें भरकर इधर ही आ रहे हैं। अतः हमलोग यहाँसे हट जायँगे। इसके लिये तुम हमें आज्ञा प्रदान करो”
ime hy āyānti saṁhṛṣṭāḥ pāṇḍavā jitakāśinaḥ | apayāsyāmahe tāvad anujānātu no bhavān ||
Sañjaya nói: “Kìa—những Pāṇḍava đang tiến về phía này, hân hoan và rạng rỡ với niềm tin chiến thắng. Vì thế, tạm thời chúng tôi sẽ rút khỏi đây. Xin ngài cho phép chúng tôi lui đi.”
