हृद॑ चैवाहमाचक्ष॑ यं प्रविष्टो नराधिप: । तब मैंने उन लोगोंसे दुर्योधनका कुशल-समाचार बताया तथा दुर्योधनने मुझे जो संदेश दिया था, वह भी सब उनसे कह सुनाया और जिस सरोवरमें वह घुसा था, उसका भी पता बता दिया

Transliteration

hṛdaṁ caivāham ācakṣaṁ yaṁ praviṣṭo narādhipaḥ |

Translation

Sañjaya nói: “Ta cũng đã nói rõ chính cái hồ mà nhà vua đã bước vào.” Trong mạch chuyện ấy, Sañjaya thuật với các chiến binh đang tụ họp rằng ông đã báo tin bình an của Duryodhana, chuyển lời nhắn Duryodhana ký thác, và còn tiết lộ nơi cái hồ mà Duryodhana ẩn náu—một sự phơi bày biến bí mật thành lời công khai, đẩy cuộc đối đầu cuối cùng đầy day dứt về đạo lý đến gần hơn giữa lúc kỷ cương chiến trận sụp đổ.
