भीमसेनस्य कौरवसुतवधः तथा श्रुतर्वावधः
Slaying of Kaurava princes and the fall of Śrutarvā
विचुक्रुशुः पितृंस्त्वन्ये सहायानपरे पुनः । बान्धवांश्व नरव्याप्र भ्रातृन् सम्बन्धिनस्तथा
vicukruśuḥ pitṝṁs tv anye sahāyān apare punaḥ | bāndhavāṁś ca naravyāghra bhrātṝn sambandhinas tathā ||
Sañjaya thưa: Có kẻ kêu gào gọi cha mình, kẻ khác gọi đồng đội. Hỡi mãnh hổ giữa loài người, họ cũng gọi những người thân—anh em và các quyến thuộc. Trong cơn hỗn loạn của chiến trường, nhiều người bỏ mặc người nhà ngay nơi họ ngã xuống mà tháo chạy; và nhiều đại xa chiến sĩ, bị mũi tên của Pārtha (Arjuna) làm trọng thương, đã ngất lịm mà gục xuống.
