शल्यपर्व — चतुर्विंशोऽध्यायः | Śalya Parva, Chapter 24: Disruption of Kaurava Formations and the Elephant Encirclement

सर्वमासीज्जगत्‌ पूर्ण पार्थनामाड्कितै: शरै: । रुक्मपुड्खैस्तैलधौतै: कर्मारपरिमार्जिति:,अर्जुनके नामसे अंकित, तेलके धोये और कारीगरके साफ किये सुवर्णमय पंखवाले बाणोंद्वारा वहाँका सारा जगत्‌ व्याप्त हो रथा था

sarvam āsīj jagat pūrṇaṃ pārthanāmāṅkitaiḥ śaraiḥ | rukmapuṅkhais tailadhautaiḥ karmāraparimārjitaiḥ ||

Sañjaya nói: “Nơi ấy tưởng như cả cõi thế gian đều đầy ắp những mũi tên mang danh Pārtha—lông tên mạ vàng, được rửa sạch bằng dầu và đánh bóng bởi tay thợ rèn—dày đặc đến mức tên của Arjuna phủ tràn khắp chiến trường.”
