पीडितास्तावका: सर्वे प्रधावन्तो रणोत्कटा: । क्षणेन चैव पार्थास्ति बहुत्वातू समलोडयन्
pīḍitās tāvakāḥ sarve pradhāvanto raṇotkaṭāḥ | kṣaṇena caiva pārthāṃs tu bahutvāt samaloḍayan ||
Sañjaya nói: Dẫu toàn bộ chiến binh của ngài đang bị dồn ép và chịu khổ, họ—hung hãn, cuồng nhiệt vì chiến trận—vẫn lao lên; và nhờ ưu thế áp đảo về quân số, họ nhanh chóng nghiền lấp các chiến sĩ Pāṇḍava chỉ trong khoảnh khắc.
