हिरण्यकवचं देवं चन्द्रमौलिवि भूषणम्‌ । प्रपद्ये शरणं देव॑ं परमेण समाधिना

hiraṇyakavacaṃ devaṃ candramaulivibhūṣaṇam | prapadye śaraṇaṃ devaṃ parameṇa samādhinā ||

Sañjaya nói: “Con xin nương tựa nơi Thần linh khoác giáp vàng, đội vương miện có trăng làm đỉnh. Với định lực tối thượng, con xin quy phục Đấng Thiêng liêng làm chỗ che chở duy nhất.”
