Adhyāya 33: Antarvedī-Samāgama, Arghya-Nirṇaya, and Śiśupāla’s Objection

दस्युभ्यो वज्चकेभ्यो वा राजन्‌ प्रति परस्परम्‌ । राजवल्लभतश्चैव नाश्रूयन्त मृषा गिर:

dasyubhyo vañcakebhyo vā rājan prati parasparam | rājavallabhataś caiva nāśrūyanta mṛṣā giraḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana nói: “Tâu Đại vương, nơi ấy không hề nghe lời dối trá—dù từ bọn cướp hay kẻ lừa lọc, thậm chí cả từ những kẻ được nhà vua sủng ái và tin cậy. Không chỉ đối với thần dân, mà ngay giữa họ với nhau, người ta cũng không dùng dối trá hay gian trá.”
