अपराल्ने5पराह्नो5स्य सूतपुत्रस्य मारिष | छिन्नमञज्जलिकेनाजौ सोत्सेधमपतच्छिर:

Transliteration

aparāhṇe 'parāhṇo 'sya sūtaputrasya māriṣa | chinnam añjalikena ājau sotsedham apatach chiraḥ ||

Translation

Sañjaya nói: “Muôn tâu bậc đáng tôn kính! Vào cuối buổi xế chiều, trong chiến địa, đầu của Karṇa—con trai người đánh xe—bị mũi tên Añjalika chém đứt và rơi xuống đất cùng phần bị cắt lìa.”
