जयास्पदं तव सैन्यस्य नित्य- ममित्रवित्रासनमीड्यरूपम् | विख्यातमादित्यसमं सम लोके त्विषा सम॑ पावकभानुचन्द्रै:
jayāspadaṁ tava sainyasya nityaṁ amitravitrāsanam īḍyarūpam | vikhyātam ādityasamaṁ samaṁ loke tviṣā samaṁ pāvakabhānucandraiḥ ||
Sañjaya nói: “Lá cờ lừng danh khắp thế gian ấy là trụ cột chiến thắng của quân ngài, luôn làm kẻ thù khiếp sợ. Hình dáng nó đáng được tán dương; ánh huy hoàng của nó vang danh trong đời—ngang với mặt trời, rực rỡ sánh cùng lửa, mặt trời và mặt trăng.”
