Sañjaya nói: “Xin Kṛṣṇa hãy biết ta, giữa chiến địa, là bậc nhất trong mọi cung thủ. Hỡi Śrī Kṛṣṇa! Hôm nay, khi Duryodhana nóng nảy thấy Karṇa bị giết trên chiến trường, xin hãy nhận ta là người ưu việt nhất trong toàn thể những kẻ cầm cung.”

In the midst of the Karṇa Parva’s intense fighting, a combatant’s message is framed (through Sañjaya’s narration) as a direct challenge or self-proclamation to Kṛṣṇa: to be acknowledged in battle as the foremost archer.
