जघान पुरुषव्याप्रं शरै: संनतपर्वभि: । स एष पतित: शेते शरतल्पे पितामह:

Transliteration

jaghāna puruṣavyāpraṁ śaraiḥ saṁnataparvabhiḥ | sa eṣa patitaḥ śete śaratālpe pitāmahaḥ ||

Translation

Sañjaya nói: Bằng những mũi tên có khớp nối chuẩn mực và ngay thẳng, ngài đã quật ngã chiến sĩ hùng mạnh, oai dũng như sư tử. Và nay vị Tổ phụ—Bhīṣma—nằm gục, an nghỉ trên giường tên.
