कर्णनिधनवृत्तान्तनिवेदनम् | Reporting Karṇa’s Fall to Yudhiṣṭhira
कृताञ्जले: प्रपन्नस्य प्रमत्तस्य तथैव च | न वध: पूज्यते सद्धिस्तच्च सर्व गुरौ तव
kṛtāñjaleḥ prapannasya pramattasya tathaiva ca | na vadhaḥ pūjyate sadbhis tac ca sarvaṃ gurau tava mānada ||
Śrī Kṛṣṇa nói: “Người thiện không tán thành việc giết kẻ đã đến cầu nương náu, kẻ chắp tay khẩn cầu, hay kẻ lơ là, chưa kịp chuẩn bị. Sự sát hại ấy không được tôn vinh trong hàng người chính trực. Và hỡi bậc ban danh dự, mọi điều ấy đều ứng vào người anh cả của ngươi.”
