Arjuna’s targeted advance; Śalya–Karṇa dialogue; interception attempts
सर्वमाह सुदुर्धर्षो वासुदेव: किरीटिने । ततो राजन् महाघोर: प्रादुरासीन्महारण:
sañjaya uvāca |
sarvam āha sudurdharṣo vāsudevaḥ kirīṭine |
tato rājan mahāghoraḥ prādurāsīn mahāraṇaḥ ||
Sañjaya thưa: Vāsudeva (Śrī Kṛṣṇa) bất khả chiến bại đã nói hết mọi điều với Arjuna đội mũ miện. Rồi, tâu Đại vương, một trận đại chiến ghê rợn bậc nhất bùng nổ—khi lời khuyên nhường chỗ cho phép thử nghiệt ngã của ý chí và chính pháp giữa cơn binh lửa.
