घोरमायोधन जज्ञे प्रेतताजपुरोपमम् । जो उनमें प्रवेश करते
sañjaya uvāca | ghoram āyodhanaṃ jajñe pretarāja-puro'upamam |
Sañjaya nói: “Một chiến địa ghê rợn đã hiện ra, tựa như thành đô của Chúa Tể Cõi Chết. Nó đáng sợ đến mức tưởng như chính cảnh giới của Yama; ai bước vào đều như bị nhấn chìm, khiến lòng các kṣatriya dậy lên kinh hoàng. Hỡi bậc dũng sĩ! Bởi tiếng gầm rống của loài thú ăn thịt vang dội, nơi ấy trông như kinh thành của Yama, rợn người khôn xiết.”
