मांसशोणितपड्किन्यो घोररूपा: सुदारुणा: । नदी: प्रवर्तयामासु: शोणितौघविवर्धिनी:
māṃsaśoṇitapaṅkinyo ghorarūpāḥ sudāruṇāḥ | nadīḥ pravartayāmāsuḥ śoṇitaughavivardhinīḥ ||
Sañjaya nói: Những dòng sông mà lòng sông là bùn nhão của thịt và máu—hình dạng ghê rợn, vô cùng khủng khiếp—đã bị khiến cho chảy ở đó, phình lên bởi những thác lũ máu me.
