Karṇa’s Pressure on the Pāñcālas; Duryodhana Disabled; Arjuna’s Counter-Advance
अवश्यं तु मया वाच्यं॑ बुद्ध्यता त्वद्धिताहितम् । विशेषतो रथस्थेन राज्ञश्नैव हितैषिणा
avaśyaṁ tu mayā vācyaṁ buddhyatā tvad-hitāhitam | viśeṣato ratha-sthena rājñaś caiva hitaiṣiṇā ||
Sañjaya nói: “Ta phải nói, bằng sự phân định sáng suốt, điều gì thật sự lợi cho ngươi và điều gì không. Huống chi ta đang đứng trên chiến xa với tư cách người đánh xe và kẻ cầu phúc cho đức vua; bởi vậy, bổn phận của ta là nói thẳng cho ngươi biết điều nào đưa đến an lành và điều nào dẫn tới tai họa.”
