निःसरन्तो व्यदृश्यन्त सूर्यात् सप्त महाग्रहा:
sañjaya uvāca | niḥsaranto vyadṛśyanta sūryāt sapta mahāgrahāḥ | ulkāpātāḥ prāvartanta diśaś cāgnimayīr iva | avṛṣṭyā vidyutaḥ petur bhayaṅkarāś ca mahānilāḥ ||
Sañjaya nói: “Bảy hành tinh lớn dường như hiện ra từ mặt trời. Sao băng rơi xuống; bốn phương bừng cháy như có lửa. Sấm sét giáng dù không mưa, và những cơn gió dữ đáng sợ nổi lên.”
