संछाद्यमान: सहसा कर्णचापच्युतै: शरै: । चिच्छेद स शरांस्तूर्ण शरैरेव महारथ:,कर्णके धनुषसे छूटे हुए बाणोंद्वारा सहसा आच्छादित होते हुए महारथी नकुलने तुरंत ही उसके बाणोंको अपने बाणोंद्वारा ही काट गिराया
sañchādyamānaḥ sahasā karṇacāpyacyutaiḥ śaraiḥ | ciccheda sa śarāṃs tūrṇaṃ śarair eva mahārathaḥ ||
Sañjaya nói: Dẫu bất ngờ bị những mũi tên phóng ra từ cung Karṇa phủ kín, vị đại xa chiến Nakula vẫn lập tức dùng chính tên mình chém rơi những mũi tên ấy—lấy tên chặn tên giữa lửa chiến trường.
