रजो दृष्टवा समद्धभूतं श्रुव्वा च गजनि:स्वनम्‌ । भगदत्ते विकुर्वाणे कौन्तेय: कृष्णमब्रवीत्‌

Transliteration

rajo dṛṣṭvā samṛddha-bhūtaṃ śrutvā ca gaja-niḥsvanam | bhagadatte vikurvāṇe kaunteyaḥ kṛṣṇam abravīt ||

Translation

Sañjaya nói: Thấy bụi đất cuộn dày và nghe tiếng voi rống vang khi Bhagadatta giao chiến với thế oai dữ dội, Arjuna, con của Kuntī, liền thưa với Kṛṣṇa. Cảnh ấy cho thấy tiếng gầm và khí thế của chiến trường có thể làm dao động cả người kiên định, và rằng giữa sức mạnh áp đảo, một chiến binh vẫn tìm lời chỉ dẫn sáng tỏ để hành động cho đúng đạo.
