द्रोणस्तु शरवर्षेण च्छाद्यमानो महारथ: । वेग॑ चक्रे महावेग: क्रोधादुद्वृत्य चक्षुषी
droṇas tu śaravarṣeṇa cchādyamāno mahārathaḥ | vegaṃ cakre mahāvegaḥ krodhād udvṛtya cakṣuṣī ||
Sañjaya nói: Dẫu bị màn mưa tên che phủ, Droṇa—vị đại xa chiến—vẫn gượng dậy, thúc mình vào một tốc lực còn dữ dội hơn; trong cơn giận, mắt trợn rộng, ông phô bày một luồng uy lực hung mãnh.
