Śaineya’s Breakthrough and Reunion with Arjuna (शैनेयस्य समागमः)
न गोष्ठया नोपकारेण न सम्बन्धनिमित्तत: । नानाहूत॑ नाप्यभूतं मम सैन्यं बभूव ह
sañjaya uvāca
na goṣṭhayā nopakāreṇa na sambandha-nimittataḥ | nānāhūtaṃ nāpy abhūtaṃ mama sainyaṃ babhūva ha ||
Sañjaya nói: “Quân của ta không được lập nên bởi sự dỗ dành do áp lực hội đoàn, cũng không bởi ân huệ để mua chuộc, lại càng không vì dây mơ rễ má họ hàng. Trong họ không có ai là kẻ chưa được triệu gọi đúng phép, hay bị bắt lôi đến bằng cưỡng bức. Toàn quân của ta đều như thế.”
