Tại đó, chúng tôi đã chứng kiến điều kỳ lạ—oai dũng của người con Kuntī. Dẫu Droṇa cố ngăn cản, ông vẫn đánh gục các con của ngài.

The verse highlights extraordinary valor displayed in war and the limits of external restraint: even a revered teacher’s attempt to check a warrior may fail when the momentum of battle and kṣatriya-duty drive action. It implicitly raises ethical tension between reverence for elders/teachers and the uncompromising demands of battlefield dharma.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that they witnessed astonishing heroism from Kuntī’s son (typically Arjuna). Despite Droṇa’s efforts to restrain him, he nevertheless struck down Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s sons—indicating a fierce engagement where Arjuna’s effectiveness overcomes attempted intervention.
