चित्रसेनो विकर्णश्र॒ सैन्धवो5थ बृहदूबल: । आवलन्त्यौ च महेष्वासौ कौरवं पर्यवारयन्‌

Transliteration

citraseno vikarṇaś ca saindhavo 'tha bṛhadbalaḥ | āvalantyau ca maheṣvāsau kauravaṃ paryavārayan ||

Translation

Sañjaya nói: Chitrasena, Vikarna, Jayadratha—vua xứ Sindhu—cùng với Bṛhadbala, và hai cung thủ kiệt xuất Āvalantya và Maheshvāsa, đã áp sát bao quanh hoàng tử Kaurava, lập thành một vòng hộ vệ.
