भीष्मशिबिरगमनम् — Duryodhana’s Visit to Bhīṣma’s Camp and the Command Appeal
वृषभस्तु महाराज बहुधा विपरिक्षत: । अमुच्यत महारीौद्रात् तस्माद् वीरावकर्तनात्,महाराज! वृषभ बहुत घायल हो गया था तो भी वीरोंका उच्छेद करनेवाले उस महाभयंकर संग्रामसे उसने अपने-आपको किसी प्रकार मुक्त कर लिया
vṛṣabhas tu mahārāja bahudhā viparīkṣataḥ | amucyata mahāraudrāt tasmād vīrāvakartanāt ||
Sañjaya thưa: Tâu Đại vương, dù Vṛṣabha bị thương tích và bị quật ngã theo nhiều cách, chàng vẫn bằng cách nào đó tự giải thoát khỏi trận chiến vô cùng hung bạo và ghê rợn ấy—một bãi tàn sát chém gục các bậc anh hùng.
