जानामि व्वां युधां श्रेष्ठमत्यन्तं पूर्ववैरिणम् अनयस्याद्य सम्प्राप्तं फलं पश्य सुदारुणम्
jānāmi vām yudhāṁ śreṣṭham atyantaṁ pūrvavairiṇam | anayasya adya samprāptaṁ phalaṁ paśya sudāruṇam ||
Sañjaya nói: Ta biết hai người đều là bậc nhất trong hàng dũng sĩ, lại là kẻ thù cay nghiệt từ thuở xưa. Hãy nhìn hôm nay, quả báo tàn khốc ghê gớm đã đến từ tai ương ấy—oán thù quá khứ và sự mê muội hiện thời chín muồi thành diệt vong giữa chiến địa.
