अध्याय ८० — मध्यंदिन-रणवृत्तान्तः

तत्प्रभग्नं बल॑ दृष्टवा द्रोणेनामिततेजसा । नाशवनुवन्‌ वारयितुं समस्तास्ते महारथा:

tatprabhagnaṃ balaṃ dṛṣṭvā droṇenāmitatejasā | nāśakan nu vārayituṃ samastās te mahārathāḥ ||

Sañjaya nói: Thấy đội hình quân mình bị Droṇa, bậc rực sáng vô lượng, phá tan, tất cả những đại chiến xa ấy—dẫu hợp sức—vẫn không sao ngăn chặn được ông.
