अध्याय ८० — मध्यंदिन-रणवृत्तान्तः

ततो द्रोणो महाराज त्वरितो5भ्याययौ रणात् । तत्रापश्यन्महेष्वासो भारद्वाज: प्रतापवान्
tato droṇo mahārāja tvarito 'bhyāyayau raṇāt | tatrāpaśyan maheṣvāso bhāradvājaḥ pratāpavān ||
Sañjaya nói: Bấy giờ, tâu Đại vương, Droṇa vội vã tiến lên từ chiến địa. Tại đó, cung thủ hùng mạnh, người con của Bhāradvāja, nhìn thấy cảnh tượng—Dṛṣṭadyumna và Bhīmasena đang tung hoành trong trận đại chiến, còn các con trai của ngài nằm gục, bị mê muội chế ngự.
