तेन तेनैव धावन्ति मनोमारुतरंहस: । ततः सर्वस्य सैन्यस्य निस्वनस्तुमुलो5भवत्,मन और वायुके समान वेगवाले वे घोड़े जिधर राह मिली, उधर ही दौड़ने लगे। इससे सारी सेनामें कोलाहल मच गया

Sañjaya thưa: Bị xua đẩy hết hướng này sang hướng khác, bầy ngựa—nhanh như ý nghĩ và gió—cứ hễ thấy lối mở ra là lao tới. Từ đó, một tiếng ồn ào kinh thiên động địa nổi lên khắp toàn quân, báo hiệu sự rối loạn lan rộng và đà cuốn không thể kìm của chiến trận một khi đã khởi động.
