भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ६२: वासुदेवमहात्म्यप्रशंसा (देव–ब्रह्मसंवादः)

द्रवतस्तान्‌ समालक्ष्य भीष्मद्रोणी महारथौ । न्यवारयेतां संरब्धौ दुर्योधनहितैषिणाौं,उन योद्धाओंको भागते देख दुर्योधनका हित चाहनेवाले महारथी भीष्म और द्रोण क्रोधपूर्वक उन्हें रोकने लगे

dravatastān samālakṣya bhīṣmadroṇī mahārathau | nyavārayetāṁ saṁrabdhau duryodhanahitaiṣiṇau ||

Sañjaya nói: Thấy các chiến binh ấy đang tháo chạy, hai đại xa chiến là Bhīṣma và Droṇa—những người một lòng vì lợi ích của Duryodhana—giận dữ tiến đến để ngăn họ lại.
