भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ६२: वासुदेवमहात्म्यप्रशंसा (देव–ब्रह्मसंवादः)
विद्रवत्येव तत् सैन्यं पश्यतोद्रोण भीष्मयो: । महामना भीष्म और द्रोणके रोकनेपर भी उनके सामने ही वह सेना भागती ही चली जा रही थी
vidravaty eva tat sainyaṁ paśyato droṇa-bhīṣmayoḥ |
Sañjaya thưa: Ngay trước mắt Droṇa và Bhīṣma—dẫu hai ngài cố sức ngăn lại—đạo quân ấy vẫn cứ tháo chạy mãi ngay trước mặt họ.
