महाव्यूह: कलिज्रानामेकेन मृदितस्त्वया । “आपने अकेले अपनी ही भुजाओंके बल और पराक्रमसे कलिंगोंके उस महान् व्यूहको रौंदकर मिट्टीमें मिला दिया
sañjaya uvāca | mahāvyūhaḥ kaliṅgānām ekena mṛditas tvayā |
Sañjaya nói: “Chỉ một mình ngài đã nghiền nát và giẫm đạp tan tành trận hình hùng hậu của người Kalinga. Bằng sức mạnh và dũng khí nơi chính đôi tay mình, ngài phá vỡ đội hình dày đặc—chật kín voi, ngựa và chiến xa—khiến nó thành đống hoang tàn. Trong đó có nhiều kẻ được kể vào hàng bậc kiệt xuất của thế gian, và vô số dũng sĩ kiên cường đã nương tựa vào trận hình lớn ấy.”
