धृष्टद्युम्न निबोधेद॑ं यत्‌ त्वां वक्ष्यामि मारिष । नातिक्रम्यं भवेत्‌ तच्च वचनं मम भाषितम्‌,“आदरणीय वीर धृष्टद्युम्न! मैं तुमसे जो कुछ कहता हूँ, इसे ध्यान देकर सुनो। मेरे कहे हुए वचनोंका तुम्हें उल्लंघन नहीं करना चाहिये

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | dhṛṣṭadyumna nibodhedaṁ yat tvāṁ vakṣyāmi māriṣa | nātikramyaṁ bhavet tac ca vacanaṁ mama bhāṣitam ||

Translation

“Này Dhṛṣṭadyumna, bậc đáng kính, hãy lắng nghe kỹ điều ta sắp nói. Lời ta đã thốt ra, ngươi chớ được vượt phạm; hãy coi đó như mệnh lệnh ràng buộc.”
