Garuḍa Array and the Ardhacandra Counter-Formation
नुदन् समन्तात् समरे रविरुद्यन् यथा तमः । तेनाजौ प्रेषिता राजन् शरा: शतसहस्रश:
nudan samantāt samare ravir udyan yathā tamaḥ | tenājau preṣitā rājan śarāḥ śata-sahasraśaḥ | jighāṃsantaṃ yudhāṃ śreṣṭha tadā āsīt tumulaṃ mahat ||
Sañjaya thưa: Tâu Đại vương, như mặt trời mọc xua tan bóng tối, họ từ bốn phía thúc tới trong chiến địa, làm tan tác quân thù. Rồi, thưa bậc quân vương, hàng trăm nghìn mũi tên được phóng khắp chiến trường. Khi họ xông vào Bhīṣma—bậc nhất trong hàng chiến sĩ—với ý định giết ngài, cuộc va chạm ấy trở nên mênh mông và cuồng loạn.
