अन्यत् कार्मुकमादाय विपुलं बलवत्तरम् | तत्र संधाय विपुलान् भल्लान् सप्त शिलाशितान्
anyat kārmukam ādāya vipulaṃ balavattaram | tatra saṃdhāya vipulān bhallān sapta śilāśitān |
Sañjaya nói: Rồi ông cầm lấy một cây cung khác, to rộng và mạnh mẽ hơn. Ngay tại đó, ông lắp vào bảy mũi tên bhalla lớn, được mài sắc bằng đá.
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights disciplined resolve in action: a warrior, facing a critical moment, deliberately selects a more powerful weapon and prepares a precise strike. Ethically, it reflects the harsh framework of kṣatriya-dharma in war—skill, readiness, and determination carried out without hesitation once battle is joined.
Sañjaya narrates that the combatant takes up a different, stronger bow and fits seven large, stone-sharpened bhalla arrows to it, signaling preparation for a forceful, potentially decisive attack.
