Garuḍa Array and the Ardhacandra Counter-Formation
श्वित॑ प्रति महाराज व्यसूजत् सायकान् बहून् तानावार्य रणे श्वेतों भीष्मस्य रथिनां वर:
Śvetaḥ prati mahārāja vyasūjat sāyakān bahūn; tān āvārya raṇe Śveto Bhīṣmasya rathināṁ varaḥ.
Sañjaya nói: Tâu đại vương, Śveta liền bắn ra vô số mũi tên đáp trả. Giữa trận tiền, Śveta—bậc xuất chúng trong hàng chiến xa của Bhīṣma—đã chặn đứng và đẩy lùi những mũi tên ấy.
