अवारयदमेयात्मा वारिवेगानिवाचल: । इन सबको आते देख अमेय शक्तिसम्पन्न भीष्मजीने द्रोणाचार्य, शल्य तथा कृपाचार्यके साथ जाकर उनकी गति रोक दी, मानो किसी पर्वतने जलके प्रवाहको अवरुद्ध कर दिया हो
avārayad ameyātmā vārivegān ivācalaḥ |
Sanjaya nói: Bhīṣma, người có khí phách không thể đo lường, cùng với Droṇa, Śalya và Kṛpa tiến ra và chặn đà xông tới của họ. Ông dừng sức tràn đến như núi cao ngăn dòng nước lũ.
