रुधिरौघपरिक्लिन्ना: क्लिश्यमानाश्न भारत । व्यनिन्दन् भृशमात्मानं तव पुत्रांश्व संगतान्,भरतनन्दन! लहूलुहान होकर कष्ट पाते हुए वे समस्त घायल सैनिक अपनी और आपके पुत्रोंकी अत्यन्त निन््दा करते थे
rudhiraughapariklinnāḥ kliśyamānāś ca bhārata | vyanindan bhṛśam ātmānaṁ tava putrāṁś ca saṅgatān, bharatanandana ||
Sañjaya nói: “Hỡi Bhārata, đẫm trong dòng máu và chịu khổ đau dữ dội, tất cả những binh sĩ bị thương ấy cay đắng nguyền rủa chính mình, và cũng nguyền rủa các con của ngài—những kẻ đã gây nên cuộc chạm trán này, hỡi niềm vui của dòng Bhārata.”
