Sañjaya nói: Tâu đại vương, giữa chiến địa, Śrutakarmā lao thẳng vào Sudakṣiṇa, vị đại xa chiến binh hùng mạnh của xứ Kāmboja.
संजय उवाच
The verse underscores the kṣatriya ethos in the epic: in war, renowned warriors actively seek decisive engagements, displaying courage and resolve. Ethically, it reflects the Mahābhārata’s portrayal of duty-bound valor within the tragic framework of fratricidal conflict.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that Śrutakarmā, a valiant fighter, rushed to attack Sudakṣiṇa, the great chariot-warrior associated with the Kāmbojas, during the battle.
