सर्वस्य चाहं हृदि संनिविष्टो मत्त: स्मृतिर्ज्ञनमपोहनं च । वेदैश्व सर्वैरहमेव वेद्यो वेदान्तकृद् वेदविदेव चाहम्
sarvasya cāhaṁ hṛdi saṁniviṣṭo mattaḥ smṛtir jñānam apohanaṁ ca | vedaiś ca sarvair aham eva vedyo vedāntakṛd vedavid eva cāham ||
Đức Thế Tôn phán: “Ta ngự trong tim của mọi loài như Đấng Nội Tại. Từ Ta phát sinh ký ức, tri kiến, và cả sự quên lãng—sự rút lui của hiểu biết. Qua mọi bộ Veda, chính Ta là điều phải được nhận biết; Ta là tác giả của Vedānta và cũng là bậc thông suốt Veda.”
