देवताप्रतिमाश्चैव कम्पन्ति च हसन्ति च । वमन्ति रुधिरं चास्यै: खिद्यन्ति प्रपतन्ति च,“देवताओंकी मूर्तियाँ काँपती, हँसती, मुँहसे खून उगलती, खिन्न होती और गिर पड़ती हैं
devatāpratimāś caiva kampanti ca hasanti ca | vamanti rudhiraṃ cāsyaiḥ khidyanti prapatanti ca ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: “Ngay cả những tượng thờ chư thiên cũng hiện điềm dữ—chúng run rẩy, dường như bật cười; chúng ói ra máu, trở nên u uất và ngã đổ.”
