Granting Sañjaya Divine Sight and the Description of Omens
इस प्रकार श्रीमह्मा भारत भीष्मपर्वके अन्तर्गत जम्बूण्डविनिर्माणपर्वमें सैन्यशिक्षणविषयक पहला अध्याय पूरा हुआ
vaiśampāyana uvāca
tataḥ pūrvāpare sainye samīkṣya bhagavān ṛṣiḥ |
sarvavedavidāṃ śreṣṭho vyāsaḥ satyavatīsutaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: Bấy giờ, bậc hiền triết phúc đức—Vyāsa, con của Satyavatī, bậc tối thượng trong hàng những người thông suốt mọi Veda—sau khi quan sát hai đạo quân đang dàn trận đối mặt nhau ở phía đông và phía tây, liền chuẩn bị hành động trước những điều sắp xảy đến.
