भ्राजमाना व्यरोचन्त जाम्बूनदमया ध्वजा: । इन सबके जाम्बूनद सुवर्णके बने हुए अत्यन्त ऊँचे ध्वज इनके श्रेष्ठ रथोंकी शोभा बढ़ाते हुए अत्यन्त प्रकाशित हो रहे थे

Transliteration

bhrājamānā vyarocanta jāmbūnadamayā dhvajāḥ |

Translation

Sañjaya thưa: Những lá cờ—đúc bằng vàng Jāmbūnada—rực sáng chói lòa, làm tăng thêm vẻ huy hoàng của những chiến xa tuyệt hảo ấy. Trong khung đạo lý của sử thi, ánh rực ấy nêu bật uy nghi bên ngoài và sự sẵn sàng chinh chiến của các dũng sĩ, ngay khi trận chiến sắp đến sẽ thử thách kỷ luật nội tâm theo dharma.
