निकृन्तन्तमनीकानि शरदंष्टं मनस्विनम्‌ । चापव्यात्ताननं घोरमसिजिह्ठलं दुरासदम्‌

Transliteration

nikṛntantam anīkāni śarad-aṃṣṭraṃ manasvinam | cāpa-vyāttānanaṃ ghoraṃ asi-jihvalaṃ durāsadam ||

Translation

Dhṛtarāṣṭra nói: “(Ta đã thấy ngài) chém nát các đội hình chiến trận—như mãnh thú dữ với nanh mùa thu—tinh thần cao ngạo mà kiên quyết; dáng vẻ ghê rợn, miệng há rộng khi cung đã giương, gươm lóe như lưỡi lửa, và tuyệt nhiên khó ai dám lại gần.”
