तान्‌ दृष्टवा जाह्ववीपुत्र: प्रोवाच तनयं तव

Transliteration

tān dṛṣṭvā jāhnavīputraḥ provāca tanayaṃ tava—vatsa, imān cikitsakān dhanaṃ dattvā sammānapūrvakaṃ vidārayasva; mama iha asyām avasthāyām adhunā ebhir vaidyaiḥ kiṃ kāryam asti?

Translation

Sañjaya nói: Thấy họ, Bhīṣma—con của Jāhnavī (Gaṅgā)—bèn nói với con trai của ngài: “Con ơi, hãy ban tặng của cải để tỏ lòng kính trọng, rồi tiễn các thầy thuốc này đi cho phải lẽ. Trong tình trạng của ta lúc này, ta còn cần gì đến họ nữa?”
