पाण्डवाश्न जयं लब्ध्वा संग्रामशिरसि स्थिता: । सर्वे दध्मुर्महाशड्खान्‌ हेमजालपरिष्कृतान्‌,पाण्डव विजय पाकर युद्धके मुहानेपर खड़े थे और सब-के-सब सोनेकी जालियोंसे विभूषित बड़े-बड़े शंखोंको बजा रहे थे

pāṇḍavāś ca jayaṁ labdhvā saṅgrāmaśirasi sthitāḥ | sarve dadhmur mahāśaṅkhān hemajālapariṣkṛtān ||

Sañjaya nói: Khi đã nắm chắc chiến thắng, các Pāṇḍava đứng vững ngay nơi tuyến đầu của chiến địa. Tất cả đều thổi những tù và lớn, được trang sức bằng hoa văn như lưới vàng—tiếng tù và ấy tuyên cáo ý chí chính nghĩa, khích lệ quân sĩ, và bày tỏ niềm tin vào lẽ công bằng của đại nghĩa giữa sức nặng đạo lý của chiến tranh.
