अमोघा न्यपतन् बाणा: पितुस्ते मनुजेश्वर । नासज्जन्त शरीरेषु भीष्मचापच्युता: शरा:,मनुजेश्वर! आपके ताऊके द्वारा चलाये हुए बाण कभी खाली नहीं जाते थे। भीष्मके धनुषसे छूटे हुए सायक मनुष्योंके शरीरोंमें नहीं अटकते थे
amoghā nyapatan bāṇāḥ pitus te manujeśvara | nāsajjanta śarīreṣu bhīṣma-cāpa-cyutāḥ śarāḥ ||
Sañjaya thưa: Muôn tâu Đại vương, những mũi tên của phụ vương ngài chưa từng rơi xuống vô ích. Những mũi tên phóng ra từ cung của Bhīṣma không hề mắc lại trong thân thể người—chúng lao xuyên qua, nhanh như chớp và mạnh như sấm, không gì cản nổi.
