प्रवीरान् सर्वलोकस्य धार्तराष्ट्रानू महारथान् । जघान समरे वीर: पाण्डव: परवीरहा,महाराज! तब शत्रुवीरोंका नाश करनेवाले पाण्डुकुमार वीर भीमसेनने सम्पूर्ण जगत्के उन समस्त राजाओं, प्रमुख वीरों तथा आपके महारथी पुत्रोंको पृथक्ू-पृथक् बाण मारकर समरांगणमें घायल कर दिया

Sañjaya nói: Tâu Đại vương, vị Pāṇḍava dũng mãnh—Bhīmasena, kẻ sát hại các anh hùng địch—đã đánh trong trận vào những chiến sĩ ưu tú nhất của toàn quân, kể cả các đại xa chiến Dhārtarāṣṭra của bệ hạ, khiến họ bị thương từng người một bởi mũi tên của chàng.
