आर्य! फिर लगे हाथ चित्रसेन, विकर्ण और भगदत्तने भी दस-दस बाण मारकर भीमसेनको घायल कर दिया ।। सैन्धवश्न त्रिभि्बाणिर्भीमसेनमताडयत् | विन्दानुविन्दावावन्त्यौ पञठ्चभि: पठ्चभि: शरै:
sañjaya uvāca | saindhavaś ca tribhir bāṇair bhīmasenam atāḍayat | vindānuvindāv āvantyau pañcabhiḥ pañcabhiḥ śaraiḥ |
Sañjaya nói: Jayadratha, vương tử xứ Sindhu, bắn Bhīmasena ba mũi tên. Rồi hai vương tử Avanti là Vinda và Anuvinda, mỗi người lại xuyên Bhīma bằng năm mũi tên. Thế là giữa sức ép chiến trận, nhiều dũng sĩ cùng hợp lực dồn mưa tên để kìm hãm uy lực của Bhīma.
संजय उवाच
