भीष्मस्य शरशय्या-प्राप्तिः

Bhīṣma’s Fall to the Arrow-Bed

सात्यकि: समरे राजन्‌ द्विधा चिच्छेद सायकै: । उनके बाहुबलसे प्रेरित होकर समरभूमिमें सहसा अपने ऊपर गिरती हुई उस शक्तिके सात्यकिने बाणों-द्वारा दो ठुकड़े कर दिये

sātyakiḥ samare rājan dvidhā ciccheda sāyakaiḥ |

Sañjaya nói: Tâu Đại vương, giữa trận tiền, Sātyaki dùng tên chém đôi vật phóng đang lao tới. Bị sức cánh tay của địch thúc đẩy, vũ khí ấy bay sầm xuống ông thật bất ngờ, nhưng Sātyaki đã bắn vỡ nó ngay giữa không trung thành hai mảnh.
